ASFS membership dues are collected through subscriptions to the journal we sponsor, Food, Culture & Society.  Please be aware that our publisher Taylor & Francis runs its subscription on a calendar year system (January – December).  The renewal campaign begins in the fall of each year.  This means that new subscribers who sign up late in the calendar year will receive back issues and may receive renewal notices shortly after they subscribe.
